Ky-Mani Marley was born February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He is one the richest and most famous Reggae singers. He starred in the cult legendary film Shottas opposite another singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records where he recorded his first album in the year 1996. like Father Like Son and several singles: Judge Not with Patra followed by Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap is (remix) as well as Sensimelia all of which added to his increasing popularity among the new wave of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell from Fugees to perform Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song has been a big hit since 1997. Marley made his first appearance at Midem a world-class music showcase that was held in Miami.
